It takes the air of the town of San Daniele del Friuli itself to turn a leg of pork into genuine San Daniele raw ham… Quality control and selection of the meat subsequently bring out the best in a traditional recipe famed all over the world. FRAMON adopts a production process that involves stringently selecting breeds of pig that are carefully raised and butchered. The fresh legs of pork are then slowly and expertly prepared then left to mature.

PROSCIUTTO DI SAN DANIELE

This typical Italian raw ham "con piedino" ("with trotter") is made at the San Daniele factory using finest Italian leg of pork carefully trimmed and expertly salted and matured. It is ideal as an hors d’oeuvre thinly sliced and accompanied with melon or fresh figs and a fine Collio Friuliano white wine such as Sauvignon.
